Blackberry Cheesecake Spritz
We're baking up a special treat: Blackberry Cheesecake Spritz. These are only available at University City Farmer's Market. They are a pretty reddish purple pansy shaped cookie (one of my favorite flowers). And guess what- we didn't use any artificial coloring. The cookies get their flavor and color from freeze dried blackberry powder! That's right real blackberries baked throughout the cookie. Spritz are a delicate and buttery cookie and we added cream cheese for an extra decadent flavor as well as vanilla extract. These cookies come beautifully packaged in a Kraft paper box and tied with a purple ribbon. You'll get 4.6 ounces of yummy goodness (12 cookies). This makes a great gift or it also makes a special treat for yourself.
These are only available for pickup. You can pre-order and pay online (which I highly recommend since I will have a limited quantity. Also, pre-ordering allows me to know how many cookies to bake.)
